Workmanship coverage, manufacturer product coverage, and future removal are different commitments. Your written project warranty explains coverage and care for the actual installation.
Effective October 17, 2026
Written coverage before purchase
We provide the applicable warranty with your estimate before acceptance. It identifies the film and laminate system, eligible surfaces, covered work, duration, start date, exclusions, claim contact, and remedy. Warranty length is job-specific; a website price or expected material lifespan does not establish a warranty term. Your accepted job-specific warranty controls a conflict, subject to applicable law.
These October 17, 2026 updates apply to orders that incorporate them. They do not reduce an earlier written warranty or rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Our workmanship and production
During the written coverage period, we inspect claimed installation defects such as lifting or bubbling caused by our preparation or application. For confirmed covered workmanship defects, we repair or replace the affected work without charging for corrective labor and necessary replacement material. Correcting our own production errors is our cost.
An affected-area repair may resolve the issue without a full rewrap. We explain the proposed remedy and relevant color-matching limitations. Manufacturer coverage is assessed separately; a rejected supplier claim does not, by itself, excuse a covered defect in our work.
Manufacturer coverage and documentation
Manufacturer warranties depend on the exact film, laminate, ink, processing, substrate, orientation, geography, exposure, installation, and care requirements. We retain material identification, lot or batch records, and applicable product documents with the job. Any required registration or care evidence is identified with the order.
Replacement film under a manufacturer warranty does not automatically include removal, printing, or installation labor. The written order identifies any additional labor coverage we provide. Product-specific coating requirements or exposure limits apply only when relevant and disclosed; a multi-year durability rating is not a blanket installed-wrap guarantee.
Conditions outside workmanship coverage
Exclusions apply only to the extent the condition caused the damage or failure. An unrelated excluded condition does not cancel coverage for a defect in our work. These exclusions do not excuse our negligent handling or limit mandatory rights.
- Pre-existing unsound paint, uncured repairs, corrosion, filler, clearcoat failure, contamination, or incompatible coatings documented or discovered on the substrate.
- Impact, abrasion, collision, vandalism, incompatible chemicals, fuel damage, overheating, improper washing, or use outside the agreed application.
- Damage caused by later customer or third-party installation, trimming, repair, alteration, or removal.
- Normal aging and the product limitations disclosed with the order, including different exposure on roofs or horizontal panels and color differences next to aged graphics.
- Specifically identified unsuitable or excluded areas in the accepted scope; an ordinary seam or rivet does not automatically cancel coverage for poor workmanship.
Print-only kits and customer-supplied film
Dry-check each labeled kit piece against the approved panel map before removing its liner or applying it. If fitment, color, or production appears wrong, stop and contact us with photos. Preserve the panel, packaging, and labels so we can assess the cause. Our confirmed production errors are corrected under the order; routine customer installation labor or damage is not included unless expressly agreed.
We do not provide an installation warranty for installation performed by others. Customer-supplied materials require a separate written suitability and coverage agreement. A material exclusion does not excuse our own negligent handling or production errors.
Care for the actual product
Follow the product-specific care sheet supplied at delivery, including first-wash timing, permitted cleaners, wash method, exposure limits, and any required coating maintenance. Vinyl, PPF, perforated film, and specialty finishes may need different care.
- Use only cleaners and tools allowed for your installed system; test an approved cleaner in an inconspicuous area when directed.
- Rinse loose grit before wiping. Remove fuel, bird droppings, insects, grease, and road chemicals promptly using the approved method.
- Avoid abrasive brushes, scraping, strong solvents, and automatic brush washes unless the product instructions expressly permit them.
- Use pressure washing only within the manufacturer's stated pressure, temperature, nozzle-distance, and angle limits. Keep spray away from edges, seams, and lifting film.
- Report lifting, cracking, unusual discoloration, or other changes promptly. Do not hide a defect with glue, tape, heat, or trimming before inspection.
Exposure and removal
Horizontal and near-horizontal surfaces receive different UV and weather exposure from vertical panels. Heat, exhaust, grease, cooking equipment, outdoor storage, and cleaning chemicals must be considered when the system is selected. Keep safety markings, lights, vents, cameras, and required visibility unobstructed.
Professional removal is recommended. Age, heat, UV exposure, adhesive, repainting, and substrate condition affect removal. Weak paint or clearcoat can lift and weathered paint may differ in color; damage-free removal is not guaranteed. Removal is separately authorized and priced unless included in the order or an applicable remedy. We stop for unexpected paint failure or before exceeding the approved spending limit. See the Service Terms for the authorization process.
Report a concern and arrange service
Email sales@stcroixwraps.com or call (952) 222-2357. Include the job reference, full-unit photos, closeups, when you first noticed the issue, and relevant washing, storage, impact, or repair history. Report promptly; this is not an automatic short claim cutoff.
Give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect before another shop alters or removes affected graphics. Preserve material and packaging when practical. Take reasonable steps needed for safety or to prevent further damage and document them; necessary emergency action does not automatically forfeit coverage.
Warranty review and corrective work normally take place at our Stillwater shop. Optional mobile service is subject to availability and a separately accepted quote stating labor, mileage, and any travel-time charges before dispatch. We do not add a charge that conflicts with a covered remedy or applicable law.
We explain our findings and available remedy in writing. Pickup acceptance does not waive hidden defects. This process preserves lawful complaints, reviews, payment disputes, and other rights. See Service Terms and Shipping + Returns for related provisions.
