The wrap shopanswer sheet.

Pricing, materials, proofs, surfaces, production, install, shipped kits, reprints, and care—answered the same way we scope the job.

01

Pricing + scope

How much does an 8.5×16 trailer wrap cost?+

Our standardized starting points are from $4,995 for three vertical sides with usable print-ready art, $5,595 for a custom-designed three-side 8.5×16 package, $6,495 for four sides on an 8.5×16, and $7,195 for four sides on an 8.5×20. Complex food and concession trailers typically plan at $8,500–$9,500+ because openings, menus, hardware, vents, trim, and difficult layout add labor.

How much does a commercial vehicle wrap cost?+

Current planning figures are from $1,795 for a complete spot-graphics and lettering package, plan from $5,900 for a three-quarter car wrap, plan from $6,250 for a full car, plan from $6,750 for a small SUV, and plan from $8,450 for a standard commercial cargo van. Body style, roof, bumpers, windows, racks, removal, damage, and coverage change the final written quote.

What does the 50% deposit cover?+

Unless the written estimate says otherwise, a 50% deposit reserves design and production capacity and allows materials to be allocated. Payment alone is not artwork approval. Printing starts only after the order and terms are accepted, payment requirements are met, fitment is confirmed, and the identified final proof is approved. The balance is due at completion before pickup or before shipment, subject to applicable law.

What if the scope changes after approval?+

New pieces, changed dimensions, new artwork, added coverage, hidden conditions, or customer revisions beyond the included allowance are priced in a written change order before we proceed. If we misproduce an approved panel, correcting that production error is our cost.

02

Materials + production

Do cars and trailers use the same construction?+

Not automatically. Surface condition, geometry, exposure, expected life, and removal plans differ by project. We inspect the actual unit and specify the appropriate construction without treating one product as the answer for every job.

Can you produce opaque graphics for windows and clear surfaces?+

Yes. We choose white printable media, an appropriate white-backed construction, or another matched system when opacity is required. Clear media is used only when a light-transmitting result is intentional, and that construction is confirmed before production.

Why laminate printed graphics?+

The laminate protects the ink, changes gloss or finish, adds handling strength, and completes a matched material system. The print film and laminate are selected together for the surface, geometry, expected life, exposure, cleaning, and removal plan.

What file types work best?+

Vector PDF, AI, or EPS files are best for logos and cut graphics. High-resolution TIFF, PSD, or PDF can work for images. Send the best files you have; we will identify missing fonts, links, low resolution, transparency, cut paths, or color requirements before production.

03

Proofing + installation

What photos do you need to quote a wrap?+

Send straight-on photos of every side, the full year/make/model or trailer dimensions, closeups of rivets, seams, damage, old graphics, rust, oxidation, windows, vents, doors, and hardware, plus a photo showing the complete unit. More evidence means fewer assumptions.

Will the proof show every seam and cut?+

The proof shows coverage, hierarchy, major panel breaks, openings, and design placement. Installers may still use necessary production seams, relief cuts, overlaps, and transitions that cannot be represented exactly in a flat proof. Critical exclusions and construction decisions belong in the written scope.

How long is a vehicle in the shop?+

Many single commercial vehicles install in one to three working days after design and production are complete. Large trailers, removals, repairs, difficult surfaces, or complex hardware take longer. The quote provides the realistic install window for the inspected unit.

Can you wrap failing paint or rust?+

A wrap does not repair the surface below it. We may decline or limit work over failing paint, rust, oxidation, body filler, silicone, contamination, deep texture, or unstable repairs. Those conditions can cause early failure and can worsen during future removal.

Is removal included, and can it damage paint?+

Removal is separately quoted unless included in your written scope. Weak paint, repainted panels, aged film, adhesive, and sun exposure affect the result, so damage-free removal is not guaranteed. We document visible condition, agree a rate and spending limit, and stop for approval if unexpected paint failure occurs or the limit would be exceeded. This does not excuse damage caused by our negligent work.

04

Shipped kits + aftercare

Do you ship snowmobile and UTV wrap kits?+

Yes. We quote model-specific snowmobile, UTV, ATV, dirt bike, watercraft, trailer, and equipment kits for shipment within the United States. Fitment and the panel proof must be approved before production.

Can I replace one damaged kit panel?+

Usually. We save approved production files by machine and panel. Replacement panels start at $295, subject to file availability, current production availability, minimum setup, age, sun exposure, and the limits of matching an older graphic.

How should I wash a wrap?+

Follow the product-specific care sheet supplied with your job, including first-wash timing and permitted cleaners. Avoid abrasive tools, strong solvents, and spraying pressure into seams or lifted edges. Vinyl, PPF, perforated film, and specialty finishes may need different care.

Does the film warranty cover installation and removal?+

Not automatically. Your written job warranty identifies our workmanship coverage, its term and start date, and any additional labor coverage. Manufacturer product coverage is separate and may provide material only. Report concerns with photos and the job reference so we can inspect the cause and explain the remedy.

Does a wrap protect paint like PPF?+

No. Wrap film can reduce ordinary UV exposure and light abrasion, but it is not paint-protection film and is not designed to stop stone chips, impacts, scratches, collision damage, or corrosion.

Send the actual unit.
